1. Do I need a passport for Jersey?
No, but we would advise some form of photo ID (e.g. driving license), as airlines will require this for your passage to Jersey. Also, you might consider bringing your passport if you think you might make a trip to France (1 hour by boat) whilst visiting.
2. What Currency do we need for Jersey?
Pound Sterling is used in Jersey hotels and establishments, most major credit/debit cards also are accepted. Please bear in mind that Jersey also has its own pound notes that are of the same value as a UK note. These can be exchanged free of charge at any Bureau De Change, in Jersey or in the UK.
3. How do we get to our Jersey hotel from the Airport?
Here are the directions from Jersey Airport:

Leaving Jersey airport, take the first exit from the roundabout and follow the road until you reach another roundabout, where you take the second exit (right) which takes you down Beaumont Hill.

Follow the road to the bottom of the hill, where you will reach a filter-in-turn. Turn left (take turns to filter into the traffic) and follow the road along the coast until you reach the dual carriageway (Victoria Avenue – 40 mph).

Keep following the dual carriageway until you reach the third set of traffic lights (stay left). Take the first turning on your left before the Grand Hotel and follow the road up to the next junction, aiming to turn right at the end.

The Park will be directly opposite you, stay in the right-hand lane. Turn right at the filter-in-turn and then move into the left hand lane to turn left before the hospital.

Continue straight along the road (Rouge Bouillon), past the traffic lights and the Jersey Ambulance station,

The Savoy is on your left, opposite Jersey Police station.
4. How do we get to our Jersey hotel from the Harbour?
Here are the directions from the Jersey Ferry terminal:

Arriving at a large round-about, by the Waterfront Centre, filter into the 1st left down towards LA ROUTE DE LA LIBERATION (Liberation road – 3 lanes wide) making your to way the right hand lane.

Go past the first set of traffic lights and when passing the Grand Hotel (right side) make sure you are in the right-hand lane (3rd from left) going towards the inner road. Passing the traffic lights you must turn right at the small round-about.

A Park will be on your left now and when possible filter into the right-hand lane to turn right at the filter-in-turn.

Then filter to the left-hand lane and turn left. Go straight on past the traffic lights for a few hundred meters.

The Savoy is on your left, opposite the States of Jersey Police.
5. Does the Savoy Hotel have Parking?
Yes, we have spaces for 50 cars as well as dedicated motorcycle parking. We also cater for larger vehicles if prior notice is given.
6. Are you wheelchair friendly?
Yes, we have a ramps to access our front entrance, many ground floor rooms and a lift, but bear in mind that we do not have specially adapted bathrooms for persons confined to a wheelchair.
7. Do you cater for vegetarians?
Gladly, our chef will cater for particular requirements. You can always advise us at the time of booking or see our Restaurant Manager upon your arrival if your needs are very specific, but we try to offer varied and interesting vegetarian alternatives, as a matter of course.
8. Can we get married in Jersey?
Yes, within three working days of arriving and having registered your intention by post. Please contact the Superintendent Registrar on 01534 502335 for more information. We also have a lovely honeymoon suite and fantastic reputation catering for weddings. Please call our manager for a personal interview or more information.
9. Where is this Jersey hotel situated?
The Savoy is located in the capital of Jersey, St Helier. With only a brief stroll and you can go shopping, dinning or visit the beach, for example. Fantastic for access to any part of Jersey by foot or by car. Please see our location page for more details.
